The national park of Manu is a natural territorial space protected by the Peruvian state Created on May 29, 1973.
In 1997, UNESCO recognizes the Park as a Biosphere Reserve and in 1987 declared it a natural heritage site. It is located in the southeast of Peru, located in the departments of Madre de Dios and Cusco.
